Untitled-1 copy

Vanessa gave a talk at the annual Boyd Circle Cocktail Party, about What a special part of Melbourne the Walsh Street house is! - and Robin Boyd's astonishing legacy as a public intellectual.

The Boyd Circle supports the Boyd Foundation's programs by continuing Robin Boyd's legacy of discussion and debate both at Walsh St and beyond - by following the well lit path left by Boyd.

ArchDaily 2024 Building of the Year

3 Feb 2024

 dsp9198r cropped blue nominee

151 Toorak Road has been nominated for the global ArchDaily 2024 Building of the Year Awards.

Built by Harris HMC with ESD by Ark Resources, 151 Toorak Road is a 6 story office building with a ground floor restaurant. It responds to its heritage neighbours with an innovative second-skin facade over a traditional brickwork base. The facade pattern references the former 1890s South Yarra Post Office opposite, coupled with the need to protect the west facade from heat load. The Flex Brick brise soleil is a 'cradle to cradle' product, manufactured using bio gas and fully recyclable.
