2024 Think Brick Awards

We're pleased to announce that Tarakan Street Social and Affordable Housing received a High Commendation in the New Entrant category of this year's Think Brick Awards. The 2024 awards program attracted 200 entries across six categories. Six projects have received awards, and 11 earned high commendations.

The winners were announced at a Gala Lunch at the Art Gallery of New South Wales last Friday. We are pleased to see Tarakan Street celebrated alongside such high quality projects. Congratulations to our project partners NH Architecture and Openwork+Tract.

The Austral bricks used are carbon neutral, made on Wurundjeri Country just 19km from the site and have a 100 year warranty. Long life, low maintenance and local.
