Vanessa Bird joins ArchiTeam Judging Panel for the 2012 Awards with Cameron Bruhn Editorial Director Architecture Media and Adam Pustola, Lyons. ArchiTeam represents over 350 architectural practices and promotes + rewards the values of good design.

Now complete! The Claremont is Bird de la Coeur's 7th project in the Forrest Hill Precinct. Its clean contemporary lines recall 1950s chic. This building uses quality public spaces - a summer terrace, a suspended 25m lap pool and spa, a winter lounge, and a 'club lounge' foyer - to provide a luxurious living environment. Achieved through a great working relationship between Bird de la Coeur and HASSELL Interiors, level 5 - at tree top height - is a space for terrace parties, martinis and community. The building was opened by John Chandler, Mayor of Stonington and many others in attendance. The project has been Shortlisted in the Melbourne Design Awards.

Neil de la Coeur heads to China with The Hon Ted Baillieu MLA as part of the Victorian Government's Sustainable Design 'Super Trade Mission to China'.

"China is Victoria’s largest trading partner and is a major engine of global economic growth. Victorian organisations offer a safe and superior range of goods and services . . .
